Newborn sessions are such a special way to capture the first few weeks of your little one’s life. And it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this stage. I know that parents can have a lot of questions about the process. Here are my most frequently asked questions about newborn sessions:
Q: When should I schedule my newborn session?
A: I highly recommend scheduling your session during your pregnancy to ensure availability. Newborn sessions take place within the first two weeks after birth.
Q: What should I bring to the session?
A: Nothing but your baby! I provide everything you need for your session, including blankets, props, and outfits and more.
Q: Can siblings and parents be included in the photos?
A: Absolutely! I love including the whole family in the photos.
Q: How long will the session take?
A: Newborn sessions typically last around 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby.
Q: What if my baby doesn’t cooperate during the session?
A: Don’t worry – with 17 years of experience in working with newborns, I know how to handle any unexpected situations that may arise.
Q: When will I get to see the photos?
A: About 2-3 weeks after your session, we’ll meet again for your reveal session-everyone’s favorite part of the process! You’ll choose your favorite images and place your order at that time.
