The White Family | Murrieta Family Photographer

My most favorite family, the White family! She’s my BFF. Our kids are the same age and we met at a Mommy & Me class when our oldest kids were only 18 months old. We continued the mommy & me classes until the kids graduated to preschool. Oh how I miss those days of finger painting, singing songs and mommy chats at those classes!! Then we became pregnant at the same time with baby #2 and again, continued with the mommy & me classes followed by lunch at Wahoos afterwards. It was our routine. Then we started vacationing together in Lake Havasu and Palm Springs every summer. We started a tradition when the oldest kids graduated kindergarten to leave the day school was out for vacation and now, 5 years in a row, we’ve kept that tradition and the kids love it! We are so creatures of habit! Our kids have grown up together. We vacation together. We do everything together. The kids are best friends. We are family. I have no idea what I’d do without her. She’s my other half. My sounding board. My cooking partner. My wine bestie-ha!

Every year for their family photos, I style them. Heather should be a pro at styling her own family by now! I’m so glad she is always up for anything at the session: she wears what I tell her to wear, she’ll climb on a tree in heels and lie across a branch and look hot even though it’s super uncomfortable if I ask her to and trust me to try out this epic new location that I found and I just have to shoot at. This is one of my favorite sessions of them and I just love how it came out. The colors, the light, that TREE!!!! I think I may have found my new favorite, go-to location out here.
