As the year comes to a close, as a Temecula photographer, I always find myself slowing down and reflecting – not just on the images I’ve created, but on the families behind them.
This year was filled with so many meaningful moments: brand new babies, growing bellies, proud siblings, and families returning once again to document another chapter of their story. These are the moments that remind me why photography is more than just pictures – it’s about preserving seasons of life that pass far too quickly.
The Honor of Being Invited Back, Year After Year
One of the greatest privileges of my work is photographing families not just once, but consistently over time. Some of you I’ve been photographing for 7, 10, even 15+ years. I’ve watched babies grow into big kids, families expand, and seasons change.
That consistency matters. Children recognize me when they walk into the studio or meet me outdoors. There’s no pressure to warm up to a stranger – just familiarity, comfort, and genuine connection. Those relationships are what allow me to capture portraits that feel natural and honest.
Why This Work Never Gets Old
Every session, no matter how many I’ve photographed over the years, feels significant. A newborn session is never “just another session.” A maternity portrait is never routine. A family photo is never ordinary.
Because behind every image is a family that trusted me with something deeply personal: their memories.
I never take that lightly.

The Quiet Beauty of This Season
The holidays tend to remind us how quickly time moves. Homes feel fuller, routines slow just a bit, and there’s space to notice things we might normally rush past.
That’s what I hope my photography offers families as well – a pause. A way to remember what this season looked like, felt like, and meant to you.
Whether it’s a newborn album you’ll one day show your child, or family portraits that grow alongside your kids year after year, these images become part of your family’s story.

Taking Time to Be Present
As the year wraps up, I’ll be stepping away from the studio for a short break to spend time with my own family, recharge, and enjoy the slower pace that this season brings.
The studio will be closed through the end of the year, and I’ll be back in January – refreshed, grateful, and ready for another year of capturing the moments that matter most.
Looking Ahead
If this year has taught us anything, it’s that seasons don’t last forever – and that’s exactly why they’re worth documenting.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family’s journey. I’m so grateful for each of you, and I can’t wait to see what the next year holds.
Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful, joyful holiday season and a beautiful start to the new year.
