I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Melissa, your Temecula newborn photographer. My passion is documenting this once in a lifetime “newborn stage” because it goes by so fast.
Too many moms are too exhausted and in a foggy haze after they give birth to even think about getting portraits taken of their newborn and they miss those fleeting moments of when their baby is at their tiniest. As a mom of two teenagers, I know how fast the years go by.

MEET MELISSA
Hi! I’m Melissa. I’m a portrait photographer, but first and foremost I’m a wife and mom to two amazing teenagers. I know just how quickly the years pass and how painfully fast our children grow.
When I first started my photography business over 17 years ago, I used to give my clients images on a CD (seem like ancient times!) until a client came to me years ago heartbroken that her CD of images broke and all she had from her newborn session was a few low quality images on facebook. I was heartbroken for her.
This is why I am so passionate about printing your images from your session. I enjoy taking the time to help clients choose the best print options and designing a solution specific to your home. From timeless heirloom albums, to beautiful framed prints and canvas collages. I help clients enjoy their memories and remind them of the biggest milestones in their life because I know that preserving your family memories is so important. |

The best time to photograph your newborn is between 7-21 days. At this time, your baby is still nice and sleepy and easy to pose.
Yes! My studio is filled with tons of hats, headbands, props, wraps and clothing.
I have been photographing newborns for over 15 years! I have lots of experience and techniques to ensure a successful newborn session.
Yes! I always recommend getting in front of the camera with your newborn. Family and sibling shots are always included in our newborn sessions.
Once you book your session, I will “pencil” you in on your due date on my calendar. This reserves your session date and ensures my availability for your session within the first 2-3 weeks. We will schedule the actual session date once your baby arrives.
No. Newborn acne is very common. I fully retouch every newborn session, so there is no need to worry that you will see it in the images.
There is a $300 session fee to reserve your session. The session includes a pre session planning consultation, the newborn session, editing of your final gallery and an ordering appointment. Once that is reserved, you will officially be booked and on my calendar!
