A rainbow baby is a name coined for a healthy baby born after losing a baby. The name “rainbow baby” comes from the idea of a rainbow appearing in the sky after a storm, or after a dark and turbulent time.
After 6 miscarriages, their rainbow baby….which is symbolized here with 6 rainbow hearts was finally gifted to them after over 5 years of longing for her. Words cannot express how happy I am for this beautiful family and my beautiful friend. I was lucky enough to document their wedding day and family portraits when they were just a family of three. Now years later I am honored to document another huge milestone and very exciting time for this sweet family. My heart is bursting with love for them!
