As a Murrieta maternity photographer, I have the honor of hearing so many beautiful pregnancy stories, and this one truly made my heart smile. From a surprising positive test to laughter-filled sunset portraits, this mama’s journey into motherhood is full of joy, humor, and deep anticipation.
Her pregnancy began with a feeling she could not ignore. She felt nauseous, took a pregnancy test, and saw the faintest positive line. Her husband immediately ran to the grocery store and came back with three more tests, all of them positive. They were shocked, excited, and amazed at how quickly it all happened.
Sharing the news with family was just as sweet and creative. During her brother’s 40th birthday trip, they dressed their dog in a handkerchief that read “Baby security in training” and asked everyone to take a look. The reactions were priceless, and everyone was absolutely thrilled.
They later found out they were expecting a baby boy, and the excitement only grew from there. Like many expecting moms, she experienced some memorable cravings along the way. Taco Bell and anything sugary became regular must haves, which always makes me smile because cravings are such a universal part of pregnancy.
Her favorite part of pregnancy has been watching her belly grow and feeling her baby’s kicks. She described it as truly magical. At the same time, she was surprised by just how tired pregnancy made her feel. The fatigue was much more intense than she ever imagined, which is such an honest and relatable part of this journey.
Murrieta Maternity Photographer Moments She Will Never Forget
When she reflected on her maternity session, she shared that she loved the entire experience, but one moment stood out above the rest. The glowing sunset paired with nonstop giggles as she watched her husband squirm in front of the camera. He may not love being photographed, but those genuine laughs made for the most authentic and joyful images.
Another standout moment was the scenery itself. The gorgeous views surrounding the session added such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere, making the experience feel even more special.
She chose to do maternity portraits because she wanted to capture this season of life. Pregnancy moves quickly, and she knew she wanted tangible memories of this time before everything changed.
Looking ahead, she is most excited to watch her son grow and see the world through his eyes. Experiencing the holidays, traditions, and everyday adventures together as a family is something she cannot wait for.
Her advice to other expecting moms is heartfelt and important. Pamper yourself now. Your body is working incredibly hard, and it becomes much harder to fit that time in once baby arrives.
