I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28 and 34 weeks. By then, your belly has that beautiful round shape, but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. That said, every pregnancy is different, and I’ll work with you to find the timing that feels best for you.
Many clients reach out during the early part of their second trimester, which is a great time to reserve your spot. I recommend booking no later than the end of your second trimester to ensure availability, especially if you’d like to pair your maternity session with a newborn session.
Don’t stress – I’ve got you covered. Wardrobe is a big part of the experience, and I offer a curated client closet with flattering, photogenic options for moms and sisters. I’ll help you choose pieces that photograph beautifully, and I even have a styling tool to coordinate outfits for the whole family (with links to shop, if needed).
Yes, yes, yes! These sessions are about celebrating your growing family, and I love including partners and siblings. We’ll make sure everyone feels included and comfortable.
While hair and makeup aren’t included, I’m happy to refer you to trusted local artists who specialize in natural, camera-ready looks. Many of my clients choose to get pampered before their session, and it makes the experience feel extra special.
Yes! During your gallery reveal, I’ll guide you through selecting your favorite images and designing custom artwork that fits your home and style. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

The ideal time for maternity portraits is between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round and you’re still feeling comfortable. If you’re expecting twins, I recommend scheduling a bit earlier, between 26 and 30 weeks.
