Family FAQ:
Most sessions last about an hour or so. My sessions are super fun and playful (no boring family sessions here!) I always get a few photos of everyone looking at the camera (for grandma of course!), but most of the session I’m really just capturing the love and interaction between all of you! And don’t worry, I will give you plenty of direction!
First of all, don’t stress about this. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve for getting smiles out of even the toughest littles. I always encourage parents to talk with their children about what we’ll be doing at our session beforehand. A little bribing goes a long way too! Maybe it’s a snack or a trip to get ice cream afterwards.
YES!! Wardrobe plays a major part in your session with me and I know it can be the most stressful part about planning a family session. I love helping clients style their family. Earthy neutrals and textures photograph best and give interest to the images. I even have a fun website where you can play with different styles, colors and dress the entire family, including links to purchase the clothing online too!
YES I do. I treat my studio like a business and so insurance is a must!
Absolutely! I always shoot a variety of images; lots of family shots, siblings together, individual images of each child, each parent with the children as well as a shot of just the parents together. I make sure to capture it all.

Best time to book
Family photography sessions can be scheduled year-round, depending on your preferences and availability. Typically sessions are booked 4-8 weeks in advance, however during the holidays, I can book out 8-12 weeks in advance.
