My sister loves all thing country! So it was no surprise that she wanted a cowboy theme for my nephews One Year Milestone session! We embraced the rustic charm of a country cowboy theme—perfect for an adventurous little one! The set up featured a warm and rustic barn backdrop, bales of hay, a wooden sign that spelled ONE and classic cowboy details that brought the theme to life.
The Outfit: Classic Cowboy Style
Our little cowboy was dressed in the cutest pair of denim overalls, a tiny cowboy hat, adorable cowboy belt and boots to complete the look. This simple yet classic outfit highlighted his playful spirit and added to the timeless feel of the portraits.
A Unique Twist to the Usual Cake Smash: A Big Juicy Steak!
Usually, clients love to bring a cake for their little one to smash at the end of the session. My sister wanted to do something a little different, something that paired perfectly with the cowboy theme. Instead of bringing a cowboy themed cake for Bowen to smash, my brother in law cooked up a nice juicy steak for Bowen to bite into! I loved this unique idea and I think Bowen loved eating his steak!
